with modern PC connection? (ie USB / Firewire)
Why can't companies just make mixers with Stereo Aux Sends and GIVE US THE OPTION to make it Mono by just plugging in the "L" socket
Say you have a synth that you have a built-in Chorus stereo effect going on and want to pick up stereo Reverb from a pedal and the mixer you own, has 2 Aux Sends (both of which are summed to mono) and 2 stereo returns. You have to use both Aux sends and just 1 stereo return, rendering the 2nd one useless?
So if I wanted 2 separate stereo pedals for FX, I would need to buy a mixer with at least 4 Aux Sends, correct?
Also, we have to sacrifice mono channels to have them panned hard left and hard right for each stereo instrument we use. How do you control 2 volume fader's at once for keeping the Left & Right channels the same level?
Are there no such thing as a modern units with Stereo Aux Send, with a corresponding Aux Knob for each mixer channel?
Here is an older Mackie model with Stereo Aux Sends, but no connection to a PC...
