2x JU-06 or wait for upgraded Juno 106 to show up

Pros & Cons between the two

Juno 106 I may not be able to find an upgraded (voice chip serviced, new battery, etc) unit for under $1,100-1,200 USD, but I would have a classic all analog synth with 61 keys. Plus it's a synth I've been eyeing for so long and I love the sound it can produce. Full analog + 61 keys + 6 voice polyphony

The Boutique Serious JU-06 has to be powered by USB. It's only 4 voice polyphony per unit. If I bought two units for a total of 8 voices, it would cost $500-600, plus they would take up 2 plug in spaces, along with a MIDI keyboard to play them (I don't like step sequencing). So that's 3 wall spaces, 3 pieces of gear, 8 voice polyphony total price of about $700-800 for a good 49-key controller. Virtual Analog + 4 voice polyphony + the need of a controller + purchase a 2nd unit for 8 voice (the latter is optional though)

I'm leaning towards waiting until I come across a fully functional and upgraded 106, as it's a proven synth and only takes up 1 power supply spot.

Sound wise, from the youtube videos I've found (and that's nearly each one on the site lol), the Boutique sounds damn good and quite close to the 106.

What's some of your thoughts on this?

Get the original 106. There's plenty of them about.

Another vote for the 106. I'm surprised prices have gone up that high on them. It's worth it though, I didn't like the sound of the JU-06 very much.

My Juno 106 just got back from the shop, for the 2nd time in about 5 years. Voices went years ago, PSU this time. I only have 2 vintage synths and this is the first time the both have been fully operational at the same time in years.

Very easy to use synth and I am a dummy when it comes to synthesis. Great synth but I think the prices are getting a bit crazy atm.
