analog 12 channel mixer advice ? MPC2000xl

Hello everyone, I am curious about buying a mixer so I can connect all my components to one board or if it is really necessary with what I have now? I am thinking of offering this person $80 for this: Mackie 1202VLZ Mixer This is what I am currently working with. 2 technique 1200's, MPC2000xl, Axiom 61 midi keyboard, MacBook pro, 2 Rokit RP5G2s, and pioneer Pioneer DJM 400. Can I run my usb interface through an rca1/4 to the mixer?
Is $80 ok or should I offer lower? It's not my intention to lowball this person and I just don't know anything about a fair price. thanks

$80 is a good deal but do you need it? sounds like you could hook everything up right now to yer pioneer.
yer technics will not hook up the mackie without a phono preamp.
the other option is to go technics->pioneer->mackie, mpc->mackie, and interface->mackie

but if yer just starting, i would wait until you know you need it - its really easy to go on the internet and say 'hey do i need this' and get every different opinion from people who really dont know / care what you do with it.

but yes, $80 is fair for that. i paid $100 for mine and have used it about 10 years. they are awesome mixers.

exactly what I needed to hear. My idea is to E.Q some of the drums from my vinyl and filter the kicks with the mid and low ranges.

you can do that already with your pioneer.

you can make music right now like this:
technics -> pioneer
pioneer -> mpc
mpc -> interface
interface -> speakers

of course yer interface needs to be connected to yer computer too.

with this setup, you can sample from vinyl and put those in your mpc, then you can make a beat with the mpc, and record it to the computer. then you can add vsts etc from the computer on top of the beat recorded from your mpc.
and really you can cut the computer and interface out completely, and plug yer mpc into the speakers. that's probably a good first step, i was just suggesting what you can do with all your gear right now.

there are other options but that is one of the most basic i'd say.
