SCSI harddrive and cdrom suggestions

hey y'all... i'm looking for suggestions (make, model, retailer) for both scsi hard drives and cdrom drives to use with my XL.

i lost yet another crucial .pgm to janky zips...i'm done with it!

so where should i get a reliable, affordable hd for my xl? also, i'm looking for a dirt cheap scsi cd rom drive, too (why not)

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i didn't take that much time to find cheaper ones... this is was the best at time i copped it from this guy

I find them everywhere.

I get hard drives for under $5 at local swap shops and flea markets. I find old cases to put them in for just a few dollars. I found an external case that had the old syquest88 drive in it at one of the local thrift stores for $3 a couple weeks ago. I pulled the Syquest and put a CD drive from a old Mac someone threw away. Tested it OK on the MPC, then I sold it as an external CD reader on Ebay for $110 (maybe).

I use the same cases for harddrives and [possibly] sell those for $185.
