He's my problem:

I have my XP-60 connected to my MPC 2000 (using midi outs and ins) So, how in the world do I hook up my XP-60, MPC, and Protools up to work together???

Meaning, I want to also record my Mo phatt right to the MPC just like I do with the XP. And there is not enough midi connections......

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NAH, its not offended, or bothered I just wouldnt have answered you. a midi chain is when you connect the midi out of mpc, to midi in of a mo phatt (4 xample) then the midi out of the mo phatt to another sound module. you can now control both with the same midi channels, now you cannot use both at the same time on a channel, but you can say:
use channels 1-5 on the mo phatt and then 5-11 on the other sound module and 11-16 on yet another soundmodule or keyboard etc.

It allows you to hook all your midi stuff up without having to unplug stuff to use different gear. a more detailed explaniation is in the hooking up your mpc section in the front (I think front, Ive read it so much it all runs together into one big lump) of the manual.
