I'm giving computer recording another chance, like Jay-Z says, "can't leave rap alone the game needs me". I feel the same with recording and doing my thing.

I'm struggling with setting up Cool Edit Pro to control the MPC so I could record track for track so I could edit a lil' bit better. If anyone has some knowledge, add on to the cipher cause I'm striving to build for a better day...

Peace,
Paradox

Better tell us what MPC you use, as the instructions will differ per machine

open midi controls. set the MPC to send MMC and MTC, select a frame rate. I use 25, just cuz I find that it works best w/ CEP. or u can use 30.
Set CEP to the correct frame rate in the SMPTE options area. Make sure that the midi out the MPC is sending midi on is connected to the pc's midi . pres F7 to arm cep from midi sync, select tracks for recording and press play on the MPC. CEP will start and is now controlled my the MPC transport controls. record your tracks.
