what's good..look i'm not from detroit (virginia Beach) but i was wondering if you cats heard of Fonzerelli or Fonz.  he's from detroit. I did a track wit him a while back.  I'm kinda wondering how the boy doing...i'm sure he good.  If you haven't heard of him...you should definately find out who he is ...and where he's at.[/color]

Yo washapnin? I was born in Ann Arbor, MI and Lived in the dirty for a good minute. I ended up movin to Vegas to pursue a boxing career, but later found myself trying to get into a tech school to learn audio engineering, and thus buying my keyboards, MPC2KXL, PC & Progs...etc. I curently am in the process of starting a record company, and am constantly looking for new talent, whether they be artists, vocalists, producers, engineers, or ESQs. Holla at me if ya interested.

But i wanted to know what are some good places to Dig at or get vinyl from in detroit metro area?? i mean hip-hop, funk, jazz, soul, rock, soundtracks, all the old stuff??

The BEST places to dig here in the D, unfortunately shut down. But it was Desireable Discs. That place was huge... it was like Disney World to me. Then I found a place on 15 Mile & Woodward, but they moved, and I never found their new spot.

Yo I know I'm late. I know a dude named the Fonz that stayed in Oak Park. Back when I was in High School. Yo I used to dig at a place on 15 and Woodward, Little green building. Try Street corner music on 13 and Southfield. I'm tryna collab with area producers too. I live in Southfield but my Boys got a studio on Elmhurst and Livernois. WE got an album comin soon. But I did all the tracks are off the mOtif. I've had my MPC for a year and a half but I limited sampling experience with it.!!! Get at me though I got a MOtif and an MPC2000xl
