anybody got any pesonal experience with any of these items?

i am looking into these cuz i want something that can take external source sounds and tweak the fuk out of them with internal oscillators and filters, etc. i am leaning towards the kstation right now. i read a review on teh microkorg and i am not that impressed with it. i am not that concerned with internal sounds but some nasty saw wave bass lines would be a plus. i make beats with samples from vinyl right now, i use a 2kxl and s5000. just looking for a new toy in the 3-500 dollar range that would be useful in sound manipulation.

any body got any input or experience they could share to help me make my decision

What about the MS2000, they go for about $500 used right now, and feature a full filter section and dope sub bass patches, a la Hi Tek/Jay Dee.

Yeah ive been debatin between the micro korg and the k-station for a while.

I like the more compact feel of the korg and the fact that it runs on battries, but the editing and getting into all the various sounds is not as deep as the k-station which has more direcrt manipulation features and more pre sets to **** with.

so im thinking the k-station can do more for the money so i'd probably end up going with that

dont get the K station, its great for manipulating sounds, but its not multitimbral, Try the KS4 or the rack, they're 4 part multitimbral and basically improved K stations.
