Where do I plug in monitor speakers on my VS-1824

Outputs 7 and 8 are the monitor outs on that unit. If your monitors don't have rca inputs you'll need some 1/4 inch adapters or some rca to 1/4 inch cables cuz that unit only has rca outputs.

The monitor outs are under/behind the master headr R2 L1. Look to the right of your #8 out. however you do need 1/4 to rca ends.
