I just bought my nephew a DR. 670 drum machine and a casio WK-1800 about 5 months ago. He's been synching the two together but now he wants to record his tracks on to something. I just wondering if he could hook the drum machine to the keyboard and hook the keyboard to a BR-864 through midi time code and maybe mix his tracks on there. is thisn possible it may sounds a little weird but I don't want to spend 500 dollars on something the he can't using it.
Just in case:
WK-1800 has midi in midi out, and a line out
Dr. 670 has left and right mono outputs and also midi in and out
