I guess you could, the mpc has the 8 outs how many does your keyboard have? How many inputs does your aw4416 have? If it has enough to cover all the output then go for it. I dont know anything about aw4416 so let me ask you can it record all the tracks at the same time? If it can then you are good, you could eq your tracks how you want them and then record it to your unit mix it add vocals if you like or just burn it out. Also depends on how many ports you have on the recorder and how many tracks it can record at once. If you have a 16 track recorder, you may only be able to record 8 tracks at a time. If its a 24 tracker then you can record 12 tracks at once. It would be nice if you could record all your tracks at once, I had the Akai DPS-12, and it only recorded 6 at a time. I didn't like it so now I use a computer, its way better.

Are you using the Ib-m208p option as well? Then be realistic are you using all of the out puts? 6, 4, and 8? I am not saying that you dont but I know that for my self I dont use all of my outputs. Do you record vocals as well? Do you have another mixer? There are ways you can do it but we need more info.....

recording many tracks in one time is usefull when you're recording live music...but if you work at home,alone often you don't need in my opinion to record many tracks at the same time..;By using MIDI sync you can record one or two tracks at the same time...it's a bit longer but who cares don't you think...Let me know your opinion...Peace.

Does your mpc have the 8 outs or is it just standard......How many tracks can your recorded record at the same time......If it can do it I say go for it What da flowers its all about you man......
