Affordable 8 bus mixing consoles

Im looking for an 8 bus mixing concole with 16 channels. 24 cannels would be overspecified for me.

Can you recommend anything wich sound thight enough for studio productions??

Doesnt need to complex effect sends and stuff like that,,, it does need lots of headroom.

A used SoundTracs Topaz Project 8 24-Ch. mixer. Nice sound quality and lots of flexiblilty. They usually go for under $1000.... The company is based out of the UK and the model is no logner manufactured.
