I'm looking to buy a new sound module, but I don't know what to get. As of right now I'm using a MPC 4000, triton, and a korg prophecy. I'm leaning towards a EMU virtuoso 2000 for strings and orchestra sounds. Is there anything out there that's better for orchestra hits and sounds because I'm in Okinawa Japan, and there is no place for me to audition this equipment. So if anyone could help me I would apreciate it.

Army?
Air Force?

anyhoo, I wouldnt even buy a sound module for strings, I would sample them on the 4000, for some reason, I can always tell when the strings were sampled and when they were played from a sound module or keyboard, (Yay elementry school band class!) I dunno, It just seems to me no matter what you do (or at least whay I do) the strings from a sound module dont sound right, I think its a combinatrion of the strings needing an upstroke and a downstroke, and the freq. range strings fall into,
that aside, I think Korg trition/trininty has the nicest sounding strings.
