Laptop

How would a laptop be of use in a studio. i own an MPC2000XL, a PMC-06 mixer, a 1200. id like to somehow integrate my laptop which has Reason 2.5 on it. how would i connect it to perform alongside my MPC?

how do some of y'all set up your laptop in your studios?
