so my dog chewed straight through my sony mdr-v700 headphone wire..



anyways..somebody tell me that i can somehow fix the situation so that i can still rock these phones short of me buying another pair..

impossible to fix right?

i wouldnt really know. im assuming they're ruined.

Dude splice the wire and make the repair very simple but make sure that the wires inside the line meet properly and after you finish use black tape to seal..........

If you read the instruction manual/ little booklet that came wit it, it should say "all parts servicable" if so, send it for repair. Before doing that try to repair it yourself using phatz technique.The downside to self servicing is that you dont really know what the techs know.

nah really. these wires inside are MAD thin and first thing i thought was they're ruined. from the look of it at first.

the blunt i was smoking to myself when it happened musta distorted my clairity..

just be very careful when stripping to make the connection again.......If the wire are to thin what I do is get a lighter to burn the plastic coat away and then get it like that.......take your time you can do it......I would hate to see you spend a couple of dollars on something you can do tourself

haha, light the plastic on fire...good trick. I use those sharp little plier joints, but sometimes I f*** it up and cut the damn wire.
