yeah, i just got the sampletank vst shit, i liked the sounds it has it. But when i run it in cubase its like my computer cant manage it, the sounds start getting choppy, it cant be my computer because i more than meet the requirements on the box. I read somewhere about a program named chainer that runs vst's without a sequencer. does anyone know how to use that program, how do i get it to work with sample tank and play the sounds in sampletank from a midi keyboard or mpc.???

i use chainer somtimes. i'm not sure if it will solve your problems though...
A program like Cubase should not take up more than 10% of your cpu resources. Using something like Chainer or Forte will make a slight difference, but it won't be that much.
I never used Sampletank much, but if you can be a bit more specific about your computer hardware (cpu speed, Ram, soundcard, OS) I can probably help you out.
Try loading a simple patch with fewer samples to see if that makes a difference. And check if the problem is getting worss when you play lots of notes at the same time.
Also try setting your soundcard a larger buffersize.
