I have been catchin hell tryin to sync the mp1000 to any software. I found out I can use cubase and nuendo. but now all of a sudden I cant get any sounds to play on the pads. I look at the program and the sounds are assigned to the pads. it says the sounds are there but when I try to create a seq I dont get any sounds from the pads. what am I missing?

I figured it out. I made it work with ableton and cubase sx. I basically just match the channels with the ones on the mpc and it works. if you set it up as a midi channel in the software. I only wanna use the software as a keyboard module. NOw I have a new problem. how do you save your keyboard sounds to the recording software? You can saveyour midi info on the mp and you can use your inputs on the soundcard to record any sounds from the mp,but how in the hell would I save my keyboard sounds? I cut off the sequencer in the software so Im just basically using the sounds,so how would I record my ableton sounds to my recording program when Im not using the song mode in ablton? feel me?can anyone under4stand what Im sayin and help me??????

yo i ent up on ableton that much but are the sounds you tallkin about VSt's?? This may sound obvious but cant you just save it as a song in ableton - then load back up that song with the mp sequence it ties in with?

say exactley what your trying to do in sentance .. its like trying to pick up morse code

ok. I want to send my vst's to my recording software(nuendo). I dont use the sequencer in ableton I just use the vst's. I want to know if its a way to send a vst signal to nuendo while running on the mpc sequencer. Or be able to save the sounds to a wave, but how can I do that and I didnt use the software sequencer in ableton? Any ideas..

ps. I havent found one software sequencer Im happy with yet. Ive tried ableton, cubase sx, and reason. none of them are nice as the mp...

someone correct me if om wrong but i always thought nuendo could host vst's.. could be wrong but i think theres a way you can

Just record them live like how you would from decks?

you could do that in the computer though and chop them up in any software that can record audio and then mix them down to wav's - transfer to mp
