Delta 1010 help

I have a good friend who has this delta 1010 and is having problems with play back, it seems as if the audio is too low. He reports the mixer playback is at -42 and can not get any louder.....I conduct a simple test and tried to get a cd to play out to see if it was the recording and it too played low at -42 does any body have any tips that could help out.......hit him up

hey goto the delta 1010 control panel, the settings for input probably is on default there, so you can boos them up with the sliders + change the audio input from consumer to 10dbv, hope this works... cia0
