Emu MP7????

I just got a mp7 command station, the sounds are ok but im trying to update the OS with this stupid eloader program. It keeps telling me that the midi connection isnt correct but it is, anyone know how to update the OS on the mp7 or what im doing wrong???

you need to have a bi direction hook up with the midi cables.....it wont work if you are using just one..........or if you have them both hooked up, try switching them and see if that happens.......sometimes the cables can be labled wrong they were made by man......yaknow

yeah i got the midi setup right, but the eloader program doesnt want to send the os to the mp7. thanks for the reply still, any other ideas???

have you set the mp7 to recieve and transmit with in the midi parameters

I never knew the E-MU MP7 and the MPC can use the same os loader

I think you need to go to a e-mu site for help on that
