Choppy Sounds

Advice needed. My set up is MPC & MOTIF ES midi. When I go to song mode to track a sound, I notice the sounds from my Motif are choppy. Example, if I have a string sound it chops off the end of it in song mode but it plays fine in sequence mode. Thanks in advance. Chef

Song mode isn't always as solid as sequence mode. Seems to be buggy at times. If that is the case, just convert your song into a sequence. Hopefully your track assignments are the same throughout all the sequences you chained together.

You do chain them together in song mode... then you hit the convert menu item. That will convert the song to a single sequence. Its all in the manual. Again, your tracks have to have the same assignments (drum and midi) for this to work properly. If you are just using a single program, don't worry about it.
