Digi 001/MPC 2000 connection

What's the best way to connect the MPC 2000 to the 001. Has anyone gone through the Expansion Board. I have a killa preamp and don't know if I need to spend the bucks on the 8 outs :?:

What preamp do you have?
If you have the 8 MPC outs go into 8 001 ins.

Langevin Dual Vocal. Is the sound that much bigger using all 8 outs and is it worth the $350.
