I just got my new Event TR6 Monitors. When I turned them on I can hear a radio frequency. Has that happen to anyone? I tried moving my monitors around but its the same thing. Any help will be great

Hello,

I have the TR8's, I have the same problem. Only solution that is reasonable is to take them back and get different ones. I live right by a relay antennae, and the interference is bad. I have hade my speakers too long to take them back. I am faced with having to buy new monitors,

you can get line filters...basically just a ferro-magnetic hoop that you wrap the speaker cables around a few times...they often help eliminate interference (works with mic cables and power cords too).

If yo monitors don't have shielded wiring those kinds of problems pop up often.

Replacing the speakers with another pair with the same identical wiring scheme should leave you in the same bad situation.

Low interference Shielded Cables on the wiring of the Monitors is one of the most important elements to look for to keep Hot 90 whoever from coming through. lol

yup. I don't know, is there an easy way to rewire with shielded cable? Sucks to have to get another pair of monitors.
