i need help getting my gear all midi up

i got a question for you. I own a mpc and a motif i midi the motif and mpc together(in,out/out,in) Well i just got pro tools (m-box) for my laptop and being that it only has two inputs and no midi i a little limited. I read on the pro tools web site you could get a midi interface and use it with the m-box(cooL). THis is what i want to do i want to keep doing my seq. on the mpc and play the notes in from the motif but some how use pro tools later on as a midi controler or playbacker so i can record the midi notes i program into mpc into pro tools so if i want to record on more that two tracks on pro tools i can do that....i hope this came out all right...I need you to tell me what would yo do or how would you set this up. I already tried on digidesign but no one has a mpc so its hard to get a good answer. Holla back......
