sysex dump from Fantom to MPC, and BACK!

I've been trying to dump sysex from my Fantom to a sequence on the MPC, so I can dump it back in when I want to recall the data. There's that screen for transmitting the dump to the sequencer FROM the Fantom, but when I try to dump it back TO the keyboard from the MPC, it has no effect. Is there a separate screen in the Fantom for recieving the sysex, or am I just doing something wrong with the MP? I had great results with this method using the Proteus 2000, but this one's got me stuck!
