anyone use the korg D1600 w/ the MPC? HELP

If anyone out there uses the Korg d1600 w/ the MPC, please help, I just bought one, read a little bit of the manual, but cant figure out the best way to record from the mpc to the d1600 with midi...

you have to hook it up thru the outputs to record....the left and right or the 8 outs if you have the studio ed......assign the tracks to the outputs and you should be good cuz....the midi is only to sync it up together!....good luck
