edirol pcr-1 mpc 4000

whats up.....just checkin if anyone can help me out...

i got a mpc 4000 a cpu and i use cubase to record on.....i got as a gift a edirol pcr-1 midi keyboard controler and i got no clue how u use it.....its like the oxygen 8......how could i hook this up and use it some how ??

You need a midi cable. Hook up the midi cable going from the out of the keyboard to one of the ins on the MPC, basically what ever you have loaded on the pads you should be able to play on the keys...you'll have to do some messing around with shit to get it working completely right, but that's the gist of it
