MPC2000xl with Cubase SX. Help!

I want to use cubase as the sequenser and record multipe tracks at the same time.

MPC-----------------------------Cubase

track 01 - device 01 OUT --> track 1 - chnl 1 IN
track 02 - device 02 OUT --> track 2 - chnl 2 IN
track 03 - device 03 OUT --> track 3 - chnl 3 IN
etc...

But when i select in cubase track 1 and midi in chnl 1, he still records every channel from mpc.
I don't know if you need a plugin for this, because if i use V-stack it works but not Cubase SX

I feel ya. I had the same thing when i started using cubase sx, it's complicated to set up and i'm stoned now. I'll explain later.

are you using the sounds from the mpc?? why not just sequence in the mpc and dump into cubase.
