noisy keyboards..hiss ?

When i listen in to my korg karma and mophattt i can hear a lil hiss or somthing like that through my headphones. It's really messing things up 4 me cuz when i sample sounds in to my mpc 2000xl , the sounds have a lil hiss on them. Its not the mpc its the keyboards...any suggestions on how to fix this problem ?

get new cables, maybe it could be the power supplys too.

yea thats what i think it is 2. Im guessing i need some kinda filters.

ebtech makes a hum eliminator
search ebay. Buy new wires and try re settupin up ur gear so know audio lines are by power lines.

it could also be your mixer.!!!!!!!

most likely the mixer or cabkles, korg karma and mo phatt and pro pieces, i doubt the hiss is coming from there.

and it cant be the power supply or electric interference that would be a hum!

without knowing your exact setup it could be a bunch of things. for instance, wires carrying electric current (ie power cords) can interfere with wires carrying audio (ie RCA lines) if they are touching or too close.

I dont currently have my mixer even hooked up. Im using monster cables. But thanx 4 the article. Im gonna go try and see if maybe the way things are hooked up is causing the problem.
