I really new to this. I dont have a computer or a mixer yet. I have a motif 6 and a mpc4000. I hooked up the motif midi out to the mpc midi in, but i cant get any sounds from the motif to play, all I get is sample sounds that i loaded to the mpc when i tap the keys. Is there any other way to hook this up, or are my settings wrong?

Yur goin to need a mixer to hear yur motif 6 and yur mpc 4000 at the same time playa! When u get a mixer holla back I will help u on how to hook yur motif 6 and yur mpc 4000 up~
