aiff to wav-conversion on a mac...

i want to convert my aiff-files to wav for the mpc. is there any useful software or tool, that also adds the file-type-name (".wav")?

just about any audio editor will do that for ya. there are some free ones floating around the net - seek and destroy.

Sound Converter is a good program in OSX.
(Free until your samples go over a certain size.)

SoundApp is the monster freebie program in OS9.
