PreSnous USB AudioBox with KRK RP6's Problem

Hi. Not long ago I purchased the PreSonus AudioBox USB and a pair of KRK RP6 G'2s. I have them connected into the PreSonus USB Box with Stereo Cables. My problem is that most of the time I only get sound out of the right cable. Someone told me I should be using MONO Cables, to get it balanced? Should I really do that?

right out->right speaker
left out-> left speaker

yes you're going to need a mono lead. in fact 2 of them.

You need a balanced jack or xlr lead (Unless the soundcard or speakers dont have balanced capabilities)
