Hope all is well. I was very lucky to trade for a mint condition ASR-88. I wanted to get a tally of all the ASR users in the forum. I sold my ASR-10 a couple years ago and I don't know what I was thinking so I got another one and my studio is feel a little more complete now.

Nice score, I like the SCSI reader. I am working on getting the CD-rom drive and maybe a 2.1 GB external if I can pick it up for a good value. Also I need to grab a copy of the Musician Manual that came with the ASR-10 so I can over the more advanced features. My 4K is much more happy with it having the board. I will take some pictures tonight and show you what my studio consists of now.

ASR 10. Got it before the MPC. Haven't used ot much lately, as I have a Motif board.
Classic hardware that's worth keeping.

2 ASR 10's

1 regular and 1 purple screen, rocking the regular one with a cf card reader.

The purple screen is tucked away with my emax I HD mint.

Asr user since 95 got a regular screen and got a rack. Had to get the rack after someone walked off with my extra outputs back in 02.

ASR 10

It really was an advanced sample recorder. Ahead of it's time. Still to this day one of the best samplers. The more these companies half step on sampler features I've had for over 12 years, the more I appreciate it.
