ROLAND MV8800

I just traded for a brand new one!!! it's nice...so now I finally have my second studio set up.

thanks fellas! next I'm gonna put a 120g drive and 512 megs of ram in it. the effects are sweet,the auto chop is dope,and the fact of the monitor connect,makes life a little easier.I notice a lot of outlets are saying its a discontinued item? don't know what roland plan on doing, but I'm glad I got one!

The MV is great. Just take time to learn it. Don't think that it's another MPC because it isn't. It's a BEAST!!!

yo you right,cause I was definetly in that MPC state of mind! I read the manuel twice already and it's totally different. BMW and BENZ type thing.now I'm a newbie on mvnation.com :lol:

good look my dude.yeah this this is a beast...the eq is real.I think THE MASCHINE took a lot of notes from this piece.I'm dragging all my drums from my computer into it,which gives me a head start.

yeah man drag the drums.. make some kits (patches (mv program)) and figure out how you want to organize the sample library.
