Guess they got tired of how the mbox's looked?
No huge changes to the regular mbox from the mbox 2, except how it looks really. Apparently now the regular mbox supports 24bit 96khz, instead of 24bit 48khz like the mbox 2. I don't really see the need for 96khz for music production, but I guess it's an option for people who hate hard drive space.
