this is a beta version of Thermenia Cordero, a gestural midi controller...very quick, lofi video showing note control and midi cc control of a VSTi (superwave p8)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PcyuM1V ... r_embedded

this has been an ongoing project of mine for a little over a year now. i recently rewrote the code for better note control/additional functions.

left hand controls the midi note, right hand controls midi ccs/modwheel/aftertouch/velocity

roland D-beam does not send midi notes from a user-selectable scale with one hand while the other hand sends 3 simultaneous CCs with different hi/lo limits, inversions, etc plus optional velocity control...

roland also uses infrared rather than SONAR. the D-beam is like...1/10th the functionality of thermenia cordero.

sign right here:

http://www.thepiz.org/plugins/?p=pizmidi

look for "midiscalechanger"
midiScaleChanger - Transposes notes by individual scale degrees and/or globally, to change one scale into another. Among other things, this allows you to play any scale using only the white keys.

put it in front of your VSTi and then set your scale...this is an incredible gift if you are not a keyboard player...you can play by interval instead of by the actual key. thermenia cordero routes into this plugin before it is sent to anything else in my setup. this allows me to strum vsts by sweeping my hand in the air - in the video i was using it with a a monophonic synth patch w/ a lot of portamento.

Looks very interesting, but that page confused the crap outta me! Looked like a Hebrew bible written in Chinese by a left handed Russian! haha!
Kudos to Nym! Dude is definitely waaaaaay deeper than the average kat, I'm very interested, but 100% totally clueless
