So Akai is selling one of their acquisitions for $19...?...interesting...

I don't see MPC4000 on the compatibility list... :Sigh:

But for 19 bones... I can't go wrong! :-D  :-D

It is strange that inMusic is "fire-selling" PULSE like this. Maybe they are "borrowing" some code to put in another piece of software. :?

Sonivox was the old Sonic Reality. They had made some really good Refills for Reason years ago, but this one and the ill named "Playa" were their only real forays into VST/software, and neither fared particularly well.

But like Mike said $19 you could look at like a used video game for $10 you know is a C at best, but maybe still dig on it for the stronger elements. Although in this case I'd say the $19 outlay would mostly net you some decent drums to load in something else provided the library isn't a locked contiguous single file.

Just bought it... After seeing that they made some updates for MPC-4000 compatibility.

Hell, this is the first piece of software I've bought in a long time so hopefully I will have some good things to say about it when it gets here.

Ironic, considering the legacy support available to MPC Software users.

"Imports most MPC file formats including MPC 60/II, MPC 3000, MPC 2000, MPC 2000XL, MPC 1000, MPC 2500, MPC 500, MPC 5000 as well as AIFF, WAV, Broadcast WAV, ACID & MP3 files."

It was coded long before Akai acquired the company...but the irony is still valid Clint.

All I can say is if this works better than that shabby MPC software "demo" , (which happens to be absolutely worthless after 4 seconds by the way), I'm canceling my Ren Lay-a-way!

Come'on FedEX!!!

I remember this soft when it was $149.00. I didn't know Numark bought out Sonivox. But that was after this?
