Been working on my studio for a while, switching gear in and out. I want to keep it like this for a while so I can focus on making music. Had a MPC 1000 and sold it as I was using FL Studio and Sound forge for drums and sampling. Realized I missed the MPC for sequencing and quickly putting together interesting drum patterns, so I picked up the 5000. So far I like it a lot. Made a lot of beats with it so far and have used a couple beats so far for a new CD I should be finished with in the next couple months. You can DL my last CD which is a little old at the top of my myspace for free. I used the 1000, fl studio, and the XS on that one. I used a triton for one if the songs too. anyway, here's my studio as of today:

only gear that I have bought sense moving out to Brooklyn. Had a asr-10 for sampling, wasn't really efficient enough for what I am doing. MPC work flow is faster for me. Still not perfect, but what is.

I love this keyboard! Fast to get ideas out and work with and using m-lan to get the audio one shot to cubase is perfect. If the drum editing and sampling on it didn't suck this would be all I needed.

have had the ultralite for a couple years now. had a lot of mixers and this one has really low latency and was cheap. might upgrade to the traveler now that I have the 5000 to use the ADAT.

Haven't been using the records lately as I have been making beats mostly with the XS and MPC + my record player is broken.

right now I am out in Brooklyn performing and making music, if anyone out here wants to collaborate out here I am down with that. However, I am not just going to supply beats for free to people. needs to be equal effort!
