I'd be willing to bet Dre has more beats in his catalog than anyone calling him lazy. Have spent and will spend more time in the studio working than anyone calling him lazy. Proven legends get to work at their own pace because they are not slaves to the label. I only commented because I'm a barber and we had this convo recently and a youngsta was calling Dre lazy and even said Camron new cd will be better than DETOX!!!!!!! I should post a picture of me slapping him cross the head with my mpc3000

I dont think DETOX is gunna come out...I read an article where DRE said he was gunna put it out and its almost done, but decided hed rather put his time into his artists and his label then into himself. The man's done enough, he was with NWA back then, and hes still at the top now, hes obviously doing something right...and though you say em, 50, game etc are all wack, theyre all multi platinum so the people buying the records dont think so...and isnt it all about pleasing people? not just the fans that know whats good, but all people?

Dre is in the studio all the time, making beats trying to change and evolve hiphop for the better, so i give him props, and I would never call him lazy...

and word to deegood!

yeah but 50 cents and all of them went platinum as a result of great marketing... not great quality. throw some catchy beats with easy sing-a-long hooks.... buy a couple of the "top 10" slots on all the pop radio stations... advertise the release dates on tv.. have some rapper controversy sh!t on the news and entertainment tonight type shows...... next thing you know people buy your album because you are the only new rapper they heard of.

I haven't got my studio shit togetehr yet..had to take it down to re-arange the wiring as it did my head in hahah but here is a x-mass pic of my 707 i'm selling and some older pics of my dj setup...lol I wish I had some pics of my old studio gear, had some nice toys in the past.

The 1210 on the left that looks a bit more brown is from 1992, good as new! Only had to replace the cue lamp last year..the one to the right was originaly brought in 2001 by the prev owner..love these turntables

Got pics of my dj console as it is at the mo on here so won't re-post that..Wish I had pics of the other mixers I had like the Pioneer, allen&heath and my first one which was a horible Kam mixer back in 2000 lol

and yea, marketing plays a role in 50 cents success, but people love that shit, people who know what real music is...I dont know how old you guys are or who you hang around with but I'm the marketed age group and I hang around with the average joes, and they actually do like that stuff, they chose to listen to it, even though they like other "good" music too
