I don't think "Rape Me" can be compared to "Kiss Me Through The Phone". The truth is that every Soulja Boy song is manufactured purely for commercial appeal and monetary gain. There is zero, or little, artistic value (while this is an opinion, I think it's pretty reasonable). Cobain was an artist in the sense that his music was personal and had more to it than face value.

I understand where your coming from (although I completely disagree), the comparison isn't the one I would use though.

...now back to the pictures!

Well I like all of them but for different reasons. The Korg M3 mainly for ease of use due to me being very dependent on the previous Triton. It was an easy transition. But sounds are great with Expanded.

The Yamaha Motif XS is probably the best as far as quality of sounds and realism.

The Fantom G is just pure Roland to the 2nd power. It is a beast all in itself, but gives me more sounds than I can handle. Very good quality sounds that are equivalent to the Motif XS or better. Great user screen.

damn, one of the best i've seen in a minute. clean too, i love it. usually i don't ask about equipment, but that desk doesn't look familiar? what kind is it? doesn't look like one of the Studio RTA's or Ikea's that are pretty frequent here.

everything looks dope though, good sh*t

Thanks yo.. the Desk is a KK-Audio KDSDP1. KK is a dope company and they make nice studio furniture, but Guitar center had exclusive rights on selling that model. I had to go thru hell to get it, and once I finally did it was damaged, and I waited like 3 months to get replacement parts. Now you cant get it anymore. But it was the only professional Studio production desk I could find that had rack spaces on the sides of the main desk surface that wasn't over 1000 bucks. and I Love it. Almost every other desk I have seen has the rack spaces centered on the desk surface where your forced to reach over and lean on a Synth or whatever is in front of it. no good.

The stuff is actually all setup in the area between my Kitchen and living room temporarily because I have to have the studio painted and carpeted, but mainly because when I got the replacement parts I had to put the desk together to make sure all the parts were right and there was no other damage. KK makes great stuff like I said, but the instructions are GARBAGE, as was their customer service. That said, would I buy from them again? yeah probably. lol

btw your drama quote is DOPE. I wish I woulda thought of that. lol

hahah for sure man, thanks. drama is too funny. but yeah i'm gonna check out what they got, i'm not really in the market for a brand new desk, but i'd be nice to see what else they have.

and i feel you on having the rack spaces on the sides, thats how mine is setup right now, there just not attached to the desk. but thanks for the info...
