how essential would yall say it is to your production?

The mo-Phatt is just a classic hiphop sound module .I used to use it alot more, but no I just use it every now and then.

But styles and trends always repeat themselves and combine with new styles and trends, so I will never sell it.
It has to much gritty true hiphop essence to it.

I gotta say, to be a rompler the Mo' Phatt was surprisingly on point for hip-hop, even for straight up boom bap.
I never met a sound module I completely liked before the Mo' Phatt. Even Preem keeps one around.

Just moved to a smaller apartment so I only took the essentials....going to try to fit some studio monitors in here and figure up some way to record vocals. Also, just switched from full software to make beats to an mpc...never going back. The mpc helps my creativity as far as flipping samples....no more chopping, copy, paste, play....nah that doesn't work, do it again. All I have to do is hit the pads and I LOVE that. Lets me know quick if the beats gonna work or not, and I can move on and keep diggin. I LOVE IT!!!!

Rode NT1-A mic

But seriously, I have to agree, the mo phatt sounds mo phatt than anything else. Try to get its older brother, the planet phatt for D7B and Dance/Trance/trip

I really like how that looks though. The setup is real nice and clean too. I like how your turntables mounted...
