No, no, no, NO!!! Please don't make the same mistake I did. Acoustic foam does nothing for the low end and next to nothing for the mids and highs. I'm actually in the middle of painting my room and scraping and sanding foam glue off the wall is no fun. You're better off making your own absorbers with an Owens Corning 703 core. I'll post pics up when I'm done painting and building the absorbers and I'll even supply the before and after room analysis if anyone is interested.

Thanks, I heard similar things from people too. Also a lot of people got better results and saved a lot of money by making their own....it will have to wait a bit but it will be done

No prob man. Acoustic foam is one of the worst kinds of snake oil being sold to us musicians/ engineers and other audiophiles. The only thing foam did for my room was eliminate the flutter echo and give people that ominous "on the moon" feeling the moment they walked in. So tell your friends and family to just say no to foam

Thanks, the mixer and Mackie monitors are all new acquisitions, been using the 624's in my other room with the turntables while I have been sorting this room out and really love them, don't want to go back to the B&W's lol

My mixes in the past have been average at best but I'm working on bettering my mix downs and I can't wait to take advantage of all the sampler outs thanks to the bigger desk and hopefully improved acoustics.

In the past I was pretty much guessing sound wise as speakers weren't optimally positioned and acoustics were shocking at best hahah

Deleted them old pics..still waitin on my zoom 1202 studio (yea I know budget but I was so surprised by one of the verbs on a specific sound when I used one at a mates I brought it just for that) and two Alesis compressors.
