^^^ f*ckin dope man!

the 3000 and the 1200 are the two machines id like to own some day. that black 3000 LE is hands down the illest mpc , looks wise, ever made, inmo.

Granted, 2000XL doesn't sound magical (again, sounds "cold" to me), but it is a good machine.

@jibber you just shut the thread down as far as I'm concerned homie. It's weird because I find that I'm more into ergonomics and comfort and having a space that puts me in the right frame of mind than i am the actual gear nowadays. That's the dopest setup I've seen in a while. You got some serious feng shui happening homie.

Too many samplers tho, that would give me option anxiety. but other than that big thumbs up from me.

Fun to mess around with but the ribbon is borderline unplayable and you have to jump through hoops to filter external sounds. The one bonus other than the sound is the ability to open it up and add midi to it though.

The midi looks interesting, sad to see that its not great at filtering thats what i was looking at!

the korg thing is cool. I use it as a clock go-between for my Pro one (not pictured) and my mpc. I send an 808 rimshot to the korg, it sends a cv pulse to the pro one. The bassline on the monotribe sounds good, but I agree that the ribbon is hard to play. filter sounds good. drums soun ok, but are uneditable unless you mod it, which I havent had time to do yet.

I have an MEK as well which wasnt set up at this pic. I've been thinking about flipping both of them for a poly evolver, but I dont know if id miss the 8 voices of the prophet.

you gotta solder and drill holes, but it's possible. there's a kit online.

I like the monotribe. its fun if you've had a bad day, and dont wanna go through setting up and turning on everything you just need 15 minutes of techno to get your mind off things.
