That sh!t would be beastin' in my set up.

When the campaign for paintz and grillz will begin?

Summer Namm hmmm..... Well we paid to be club namm members so we could pass out our lit and talk to dealers etc. Cause the booth prices were crazy for such a small show..... When we had our team in there the officials at namm told us "Hey you cant pass out your lit in here unless you are a club member" then when our team flashed their badge with "CLUB" clearly on it they said "uuummm.... eehhhmmm.... Welll.... only exhibitors can do that"

Plenty were doing it but i guess we were targets cause we were not in suites and ties..... Professional but true to who we are.....

THEN.... We decided to throw a block party next door the the convention center so we booked an empty parking lot for all day saturday and saturday night and we set up a barber giving fades, B boy's wit a mat, Tag artist, Dj work'n thangz, Hell even a taco stand and bomb ass hot dogs....... We had a party bus with generator and gave demos on the bus. At night we plugged up a PA and had a freestyle session with Live keys, Bass, Sax and of course Thangz....... It was dope and the whole underground scene in nashville came out.

When we were setting up in the morning the officials at Namm came over and said we had to go, but we had booked the lot so what could they do..... yeah they called the police on us like we had no business being there. All the top officials were out there talking to the cops trying to convince them to shut us down...... We got it all on tape it was funny. We may post it..... The cops came over and requested to see all our paperwork etc and yes we knew we better be legit so we had it....... So we flipped off NAMM said Peace to the cops and Played "fight for your right to parrrrrrtttyyyy" right in front of the convention center......

People danced, Got fades, Ate hot dogs and tacos, listen and check out thangz and it was one of the coolest thing we have ever done..... It went from 12 noon till 3 am

Their show was closed to the public lame boring, Even gibson and fender didnt come or roland...... I have never seen such a dead namm.... It was sad

Our show "Booth 420" was the place to be and was open and free to the public

That was namm..... we have it all on tape and may release it. It was funny them trying to shut us down.

they may try to block us for the winter show but we'll be there giving'em hell.......

AJA

PS. We also met Scott Peer at namm who invented the ASRX. He contacted me before the show. We just signed him to an NDA and are in talks of bringing him on our dev team full time....... He loves what we are doing and we are big fans of his work as well........ ha ha its on

yo, thats why I moved to seattle from tennessee, muhfukas just dont respect ya in tennessee, they treat ya like shite unless you walk up in a suit, that use to always make me flip out, and get in peoples faces.. cats give you respect out here, you can be walking around with pink hair and wearing dress and still get respect, I think it is slowly starting to get a lil better in tn, but that is the main word "slowly".... and shame on you guys trying to cheat for the free software, Im a unemployed collage student, and if I told you how I got the money for my thangz software you would crap ur pants, and no it didnt involve stealing..

I find the virtual one quite interesting, but the info at the moment are so scarce that I don't really feel like buying it. Anyone here owns it? How does it work and sound?
Are the on-board sounds hip-hop only (as it seemd) or there a bit of variety?
Any link to online reviews?

I should get mine anyday now, but go the the Beat Kangz website and go to Support. There they got two videos of the soft.

They're still a bit too generic.
I will have to wait for some unbiased reviews to be published or for some hands-on time, but being in the UK, I guess that the second option will just not happen.

i'll admit I'm a fan, but will always keep it real.

today I will be uploading a video of doing some rnb style music with it.

the sounds are definitely more diverse than what I expected.

Just got home and I was greeted by the FedEx man who had the BTV. I was expecting it to be a CD-ROM disc, but its a USB key, real dope. I'm gonna install it now and let ya know whats up later.

The last thing we are trying to be is fruity loops....

And we didn't start this thread. People had questions so we answered them.

Seems pretty wack to label something a pos before trying it....

It's all good though. 102 pages deep and the 3rd highest viewed thread on the forum gaining on the number 2 slot..... Seems like we have been good for this forum.

It's probably the funniest most interesting thread about gear on the net right now.

Crossings why don't you add something useful like tell us how lame our grill is lol

I never said I was selling my hardware bro. I said I'd give the Beat Thang Virtual "a fair shake and see if it works for me". If it don't, then I'll stick to what I got. Check me out at myspace.com/djillustrious and I'll let the music do the talking. There's some knowledge for you.

DEWYZEMAN wrote:like I said bro you can fool fake some be people some off the time but you can fool fake dumb ass people all the time yes I said it .
