Well, the bible does not say women were made in the image of god, it says man was made in God's image, and woman was made in the image of man.
So as a reason for respecting women, it doesn't hold water.
The Judeo Christian Muslim traditions are the most disrespectful to women ever. It had to be adapted to fit with the times. Adapting the word of god is technically blasphemy.
Women deserve respect just as all other living creatures deserve respect.
What is with all the Born Again's coming out of the woodwork and getting all preachy? This is a forum for discussing how to use and not use the MPC, not how one should live one's life.
If religion has helped you in your life, fine, but don't go about talking to people as if you are in your congregation, it is not the place and it is down right rude and condescending to invoke the image of god as if he backs up your arguments.
This is especially foul when you are using a relatively new, adapted, corrupted, and self serving bastardization of a tradition that has done just as much harm as it has good.
There is only one god on these forums, and that is Roger Linn, and the MPC is his prophet.
Keep this kind of garbage in off topic, if you dare, cuz I'll give you a beating that will make the Passion movie look like a slap fight.
How hypocritical for one to come complaining about not being respected and then disrespect others claiming the authority of God?

i do agree we should keep god off the forum, im not religious at all and if i was seeking religion, i would go to church. But, i also think we should respect the women on this site (they do exist!!!!!), even though im sure non of us in this thread mean any disrespect.

WOW..
you guys get off topic fast...
I use My MPC live and use this technique to compose my songs too...
Program multiple variations of your main 8 bar sequence, program multiple variations of your 16 bar breakdown, or bridge... they may even just be track mutes which you make a new sequence...
Then using the assign next sequence to pads, you can jam out the order and change up the structure of your song live... even bring in your next phrase (seq) early depending what your next seq settings are...
Big-up (no religion please)
