i almost dove in to logic until i found there is no way to slave logic to the mpc... soooooorrrrrrrrryyy. if you find out lemme know. i'm sticking with ableton.

It's not exactly what I'm looking for. When Logic is actually Slaved to an external source, the Logic sequencer will run when the external sequencer runs. This is useful if you have audio tracks (vocals) in Logic, for example.


What's the difference? If you are running them in sync, then surely both will play at the same time - regardless of the master / slave scenario.

I run vocals out of Logic but have it as Master. It just doesn't work well in slave mode, even in legacy versions of logic.
