couple of descent monitors
A big ass tv screen for a windows computer with cubase
a crapload of vinyl
cornercouch to sit for artists to chill out
moody lights

mad hardware compressors/pres/reverbs/eqs etc
dope ass neuman mic and good acoustic treatment
one of them build it yourself booth joints
insane amounts of records
a wall with a set of crayons so its like from penny crayon when she can draw shit and it turns real.

I think there's more im missing, but to make a long story short, I had TOO MUCH SHIT...it became a creative block...Id spend hours playing with Instruments instead of making music...so now im dumbed back down to "What i need" aside from a few collectible toys....overkill sucks

and why would you want 4 or 5 different mpc's? I've always stuck with the 2kxl...no need for any other model...

That's the reason I stick to using 5 my hardware synths, all midi'd up from my mpc2500. Just turn on and play from my master keyboard, choosing a different track for each. Soft synths are such time-wasting pieces of crap and sound poo.

I used to really not like those, however they have been getting better.. and I dont mean synth multi samples...

also, it depends on the synth supposing it's a clone or emulation of some original hardware one (those always sound better in the real thing, because it's the real **** thing) and also having a nice audio card helps.

Same old man....other than the rfact that my studio space is flooding and my landlord evicted me so he can fix everything and sell the place...sucks...after 4 years of living there its gonn a be a hell of a job moving....gotta be done tho...

I like a lot of soft synths actually...I still have Arturia Analog Factory (just sold the shitty controller it came with) i also have the Arturia Jupiter 8v on its own which is rad. I still use Korg Legacy, Pro 53, Moog Modular V etc...All triggered from my Tech sxK920 keys..... And i have to say, since upgrading to pro tools 9 I'm really feeling their Expand2 Plug-in...its full of great quality sounds....although I've only brushed the surface of going through them all...
