Do you have any idea how many mpc2000 and 2000XL users are out there with bad screen????
Not everyone can afford to pay $365 for a screen

exactly why i hope envision comes through with a $160, brand new, modern screen.

$100 to gamble on ending up with another dead screen from a shady company is not what i'd call a good deal.

I know...I know...just didn't want this to end up in another 18 page opus regarding this and that product. 8)

And Tapedeck is the one that keeps talking about envision tech screens.

Look if envision comes out with them great give it a try go to mpcstuff.com and drop $160 + shipping

I have a different opinion and im perfectly happy with the screen i got in exchange for my non working screen from mpcworld.com . so that is my opinion and i'm sticking to it, if you want to keep talking about how great envision is go back to the other thread and keep saying nice things about them and bad mouth any other company that is out there.

Looks like that is what you are planning to to on this thread and this is exactly why i'm no longer participating in the envision lcd screen thread anymore

Hold up there sparky, I'M not planning on doing anything with this thread...YOU guys are the ones derailing it. You talking about mpc-worlds screens or him talking about envision's are both off the topic of MPC-WORLD as a BUSINESS...

Unless I read the initial post wrong, locotes didn't ask about screens...he mentioned them, but didn't ask about them. He asked if anyone had done business with them...

I'm sure his first post would read much differently if he wanted a debate on if the exchange program was a good deal or not...

That's great...I think the information on shipping time, email response would be a big help to loco...I haven't talked to anyone else that has bought from them.

Since the thread is about MPCWorld.com and it is appropriate for me to mention their name without sounding like i'm their buddy i'm going to share my experience when i made purchases from their site.

On the regular purchases it is just like buying from any other big site, i clicked the buy it now button and within a minute of putting my credit card information into the google checkout page i was done. If you already have a google account with your credit card on file you will not have to input any information just click the buy it button. Few minutes later I checked my email and had a purchase confirmation page from Google. The next day i got another email from Google with a tracking number for my package that MPCWorld.com uploaded to the transaction page. The first purchase I made from them was after 8pm so I think that is why the package was not shipped until the next day. The second purchase I made was around 9 in the morning and I got a tracking number around 3pm so it was shipped the same day.

Shipping was free (which is nice of them) and i got my first item in two days, the second purchase i made i got it in three days. The items were packaged really good with lots of bubble wrap i have no damages to report. I take it they only use the United States Postal Service as all of the boxes were USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes.

...... And thats about it I dont have much else to say it was simple, shipping was free and i got a good deal.

As far as communication the only emails you will get will be via Google. That's why i like using Google for my purchases, the seller never sees your personal information and they can not email you unless you sign up for their email marketing (which is an option you can set up in google).

That's it for the regular purchases, now for the screen recycling it took longer because you have to mail in your broken screen before they send you another one. The mistake i made was sending in my screen using the cheapest and slowest shipping service you could possible get, but hey im cheap like that. I shipped it out on Tuesday and it did not even get to them until the following Monday, so i guess that is about 3-4 business days that it took to get to them. But after that i got my screen within a couple of days.

this is very true.

still i think anyone considering buying a screen from them would do good to be aware of this from the website:
Please note we do not repair non working LCD screens, we only recycle them. The screen you will be purchasing will be a fully functional used screen and NOT a repaired screen.

just don't be expecting a new screen and we're all gravy.

Affirmative bro, I just asked about if someone else deal with them before, not just asking for screens, but for dealing with them in any way, let's say sell or buy (because it looks like they also buy used parts/MPCs) so since I emailed them to the email that they have in there to contact them and I never received and answer so I was like, it is just me or somebody else experienced the same?... reason why I asked about them...

Mosdman, thanks for sharing your experience with us, unfortunately you are the only one who at this point we know deal with them... I would like to hear more experiences before to take any action (let's say maybe buy some used parts) because I need to admit this but they have the best prices in the market right now... If they are a good business I'm pretty sure they already sold several parts to several peeps... so I would like to hear if somebody else deal with them...

I don't want to mention this companies to avoid extend this thread but I need to, I previously ordered from MPCstuff and VSTService several times and both are great with customer service, everytime that I contact them even just asking they answer really fast and in a good manner, also they helped me with my ?? so I would like to expect the same from any other company related to the MPCs...

That's it.

I should probably mention that I have been a loyal customer of MPCStuff for the last couple of years now and their service is good too, they contact you to thank you for your purchase and once again to let you know the item was shipped, shipping time is average but of course you have to pay for it. Overall they are good just too pricey for me.

I dont think MPCWorld.com will be able to compete with MPCStuf and the other bigger competitors because they do not have as many items available. I think they are still in their growing stage so that is probably why they have cheaper prices to grow their clientele. I hope I'm wrong I like the thought of being able to get a part for my mpcs at affordable pices. So i hope they stick around but i dont think their competitors appreciate MPCworld selling so low. So i think very soon we are going to start seeing a bunch of bad reviews and posts on messages boards bad mouthing them.. that seems to be the trend these days

Tapedeck give it a rest, you're going to talk BS about them no matter what you already made that clear

i bet you never even bought anything from them
