Using E-MU MP7 w/MPC1000. How do you recall your sequences?

yeah I get savin each patch but I dont get why both the sequence AND the multi hold the preset settings..... Im guessing its for using them as modules and not using the sequencer....
Makes more sense now but when I was just using the xl it used to piss me off........ make a beat save it... all good..
Tweak some effects maybe change a preset or two, save the multi, save the sequence and next time you load ur shits all wack.
I understand now why its of use but back the its fkn killed me!!!
