Both monitors are making the same kind of noise, and I just got the monitors like a month ago.

If you're using unbalanced cables they might be crossing a power cable and picking up 60Hz hum. Even if the power cable is leading to a device that is switched off, the power still runs up the wire. If you are crossing audio and electrical cables try to do it at a 90 degree angle or avoid it all together. Try to use balanced cable to connect your monitors.
