To the op ill second lampdog s advice .ive sort of answered a similar question in another thread. I have one of the those berry mixers. I use mine mostly as a sketch pad during composition. Those mixers imo are not for mixing, they are more geared towards amateur radio and karaoke to b honest. The eq is limited, the compressor which is only on a couple channels blows and the efx are barely usable. If I were u id learn to mix on a daw, if ure a beginner and want to not get caught up complicating ure life just get a lite version of the daw. Atleast when u invest in a daw ure ceiling will b higher. Unless u have a bunch of hhardware that u need to connect and can't afford an interface with that many ins u should prob skip the berry. The only reason I have one is because a) I made an impulsive purchase without thinking it through b) I have a couple samplers that I need to hook up and c) sometimes im stupid.
